I know this is sorta old, but anyone new here needs to read it. This thread was regarding the reasons why Barry took the forum down.

--Not because he was afraid of getting sued. The stuff he says on the air is as likely to generate a bogus lawsuit as the stuff on the forum. Plus, not that many people really listen to the show anyway. Or care about it.
The reason Barry took down the forum was because:
1. He could not take the criticism. Even if he got 90% praise, he was so neurotic that he focused on the criticism and it tormented him.
2. It was not a coincidence that after visiting Cameron and Formhandle that he took the forum down. All the loser gurus, like those guys, and Gunwich, Sinn, etc had the MOST to gain by having the forum taken down. They were exposed as to the chodes that they really are, and it was easy to manipulate a dope like Barry to turn against his fans.
Let\'s face it, Barry is funny but he is as dumb as a rock. Anybody with half a brain could have turned that forum into a money maker. Somebody like Savoy would have made money on it, guaranteed.
Now Barry is laughing because he thinks he has hurt his critics on the forum. What he is really doing is gradually making himself irrelevant by not having a community for his fans. It is exactly what the pickup companies want, and they played Kirkey like a small, dumb child.

Barry turned into a huge hypocrite. There was only a handful of guys whom you had to ban and all the "bad" stuff would have disappeared. He complains every show that people say the show sucked. I seen maybe five or six posts, JOKING AROUND within a couple months time frame that said the show sucked. It was a joke. He couldn't take it.
I also have my doubts that 1,000 people listen to the show. I'm guessing maybe 1,000 downloads but around 400 or so listeners. He is pretty funny but every show we have to hear about Tyer or Papa. Ok, we get it dude, Tyler has an ego and Papa is a rich chinaman. There are many worse guys out there who teach pick up. Guys like Mr. M, Fader, and the whole crew at the 21 convention. Yea, they get mentioned once in a while but it's like every show there is a half an hour talk about Tyler and Papa. It gets old.
Barry should have just charged a $4.99 montly subscription or a $49.99 yearly subscription to listen to each show. Yes, people still go to the torrents but that would have easily been his best bet. Let's say 200 people buy a montly subscription at $4.99; that's $1,000 for the month. You can't cry about making money when you're not selling anything. I thought that on-demand thing was stupid

Also every time mr right or cool kev for example comes on; its constant put downs and shitting, its ridiculous; i mean these poor kids already have issues of their own and now they have to deal with this asshole douching on them just so he can look cool in front of his audience; what an idiot. And then on the forum someone might say a small negative comment and now he thinks the whole forum/world hates him now; and he cant take it and goes ballistic on the show.
Another thing thats fucked up, after all barry has been thought ie depression, ocd, ... this dude still has an ego; you'd think someone whos been through some shit would be a little more humble.
